Brought to you as a special pull-out supplement with
Friends of the Craggy Island Examiner

(Updated 1999-01-06)
Ah go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on,
visit some of the Examiner's friends at the addresses below.
- Chuck Taggart
- Molly Brown - a well-known Con attender and strange American novelist person.
- Father Jack's Poetry Corner - Jack's sayings considered as post-structuralist poetry. The implausibly-named Suzy Creamcheese provides a critical analysis.
- Katie Eitak (I'm guessing)
- Zerb's Wibble - Computer links and chat-related etymology.
- Welcome to Mediocrity - You can even Win Things.
- The Bastard Son of the Lord Homepage - See Jesus nekkid!
- Motown Junk - A Guide to the Worst Music in the Universe. Rapturous applause. Check it out.
- Sputnik - excellent page, shame about the IOL server, which is presumably powered by a potato furnace (no, don't write in, I was being ironical)
- Michael's Alien Overload - superb. Go there now.
- The Exploding Aardvark - to misquote Wittgenstein, "Whereof one cannot speak, one should remain silent."
- Gareth Jones presents Skiving Weekly, a web site of such divine good taste that it offers links both to the Examiner and its sister site the Fast Show Homage Page (ahem).
- Michael Rhodes offers you Ted-oid sound files galore.
- Tim Stevens, otherwise the home page of the
BT Labs Sub-Aqua Club - nice and left-field! I like it. Great picture of Tim's curmudgeonly face and
slightly ill-advised dayglo blue wetsuit.
- The lovely and talented Julia Milton (who appears to have lost her web page), probably my favourite Canadian badger-loving vegetation scientist, and coming from me that's quite a compliment. If she adds a link to Moose Mansions I'll
probably say something even nicer about her.
- Shagnasty, aka Marcus Kerr. Another madman. What
is it about Father Ted that attracts people who are completely Whacko Jacko?
- Yearling, the premier personalised TV listing people. They really do
provide a first-class service, free of charge, and I am in no way receiving regular large publicity cheques from them. Oh no.
- Tony Jobbins, a man of wit and discretion. Keep it up sir.
- The Reverend Hellshaw - a certified lunatic. What is it about web servers in Ireland that you can hardly ever connect to them? Is Ireland's Internet connection a pair of empty bean tins and a piece of string?
- Ian Cahill - a home page of enormous merit, I
imagine, but it took so long to load I haven't actually got around to looking at it yet.
- HumorNet UK - an excellent link station
for all things hilarity-related, with a respectable emphasis on our favourites, the big thickos from the island.
- Gary Stephens - a staunch Irishman, which
explains why he likes Father Ted (I think). He also has lots of links to musical type things,
festivals and other Irish-related topics. And, of course, the Examiner.
- Letherware - Simon Letherman's rather exquisite
home page. A man of unusually orange hair, through no fault of his own, inventor of the Withnail & I
drinking game, unrepentant Oasis fan, occasional arts journalist and, of course, a Father Ted fan.
- Dermot McGlone - a man of many links.
- Father Ted - The Parochial House - Eoghan Jordan's
delicious fan page. Feckin' excellent background, Eoghan. Lots of Ted news, pics and wavs. What a shame you don't know how to use frames.
- AdNet - a web consultancy company. Yes, I know, but I couldn't
resist Derek's impassioned plea, and after all they do have a link to the Examiner, like all right-thinking
folk. Right on, commander.
- Moose Mansions - yes, it's highly self-indulgent
to add a link to my own home page, but if I don't indulge myself, who am I going to indulge? Do you see?
- The Fast Show Unofficial Homage Page - while
I'm in the self-publicising mood, here's another of my slightly shoddy web creations. As featured in Internet
Today magazine, .NET, the Guardian and many more, this is the page that started the big BBC copyright
crackdown controversy. The page they couldn't kill!

Link your page to the Craggy Island Examiner and I'll return the favour. Why not use this dazzling
full-colour official link icon (I've just been on a Marketing course, hem hem)?

Or why not use this superbly-crafted alternative logo? It's up to you

Many thanks to Gary Stephens for the Mrs Doyle animation.
